What You'll Do

• Manage and administer lower-level procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with public sector standards.
• Support the end-to-end procurement process, from drafting tender documents to contract award.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless contract delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities align with regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to a culture of efficiency and excellence in public sector procurement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: Proven exposure to public sector procurement, with knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) or the new Procurement Act 2023 (PA 2023).
• Skills: Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Mindset: A team player with a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering results in a regulated environment.
• Availability: Ready to start now and dive straight into supporting our procurement needs.

What you'll get in return
An hourly rate of up to £19.00 per hour on a 3-month-plus contract, with an opportunity for the role to turn permanent. The role offers hybrid working, with only 2 days working from the office, based in Sheffield.
