Are you a skilled and qualified Technician looking for a new challenge? Join our team at our Leeds depot, maintaining a fleet of heavy vehicles and representing a local authority.
You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining the Council’s fleet of commercial, heavy goods and specialist municipal vehicles in accordance with statutory regulations and Council policy.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurate fault diagnosis of vehicle and specialist equipment defects. • The correct use and care of specialist tools provided for repair and maintenance purposes. • Efficiently carry out all work in accordance with specified repair policy. • Carry out all work in a safe manner, observing all relevant safety procedures. • Inspect, service, repair, maintain and diagnose faults on the full range of vehicles.
About You
• C&G / NVQ Level 2 or above in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. • 2 years minimum experience in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair. • Full UK Driving Licence.
