Job Description - Commis Chef

Northumbrian Water are looking to appoint a Commis Chef on a 6 month temporary contract to cover a long term sickness in the team. This role will be based at the Hanningfield Waterside Park in Chelmsford.

Working hours: 8am -4pm with regular working weekends

Duties include:

Assisting in the food preparation process
Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
Assisting other Chefs
Helping with deliveries and restocking
Assisting with stock rotationCleaning stations
Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

This role can be flexible and will consider full time or part time hours, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in the role and have excellent customer service skills.
