Job Description - Community Nurse

Community Nurse – Birmingham (NHS, Adhoc Agency Contract)

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Community Nurse to join an NHS team in Birmingham on an agency contract. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the community, ensuring patients receive appropriate support and treatment in their own homes or care settings.

Role Details:

Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Temporary (Agency)
Working Hours: Predominantly 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM shifts
Shifts: Flexible, covering a range of days based on service requirements
Pay Rate: £21.50 per hour Ltd (paid via umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering community-based nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and chronic disease management
Providing holistic assessments and implementing care plans for patients
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and independence
Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to NHS policies and procedures

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
Full, clean UK driving licence with business insurance (essential)
Previous experience in community nursing or a similar role
Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and wound care
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
