Hunter Mental Health is currently supporting a fantastic opportunity for a Community Psychiatric Nurse to join a well-established NHS service based in Dartford.

Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
Location: Dartford, Kent
Duration: 3-month initial contract (with likely extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Band: Band 6
Rate: £27 per hour

• Carrying a caseload of service users in the community

• Conducting risk assessments, care planning, and MDT liaison

• Delivering recovery-focused interventions and monitoring mental health status

• Ensuring effective crisis management and safeguarding

• Supporting holistic treatment planning in collaboration with the wider team

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC Pin Required)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CPN

• Experience with community mental health frameworks and care coordination

• Comfortable working autonomously and managing a caseload

• Car driver with access to own vehicle preferred (mileage reimbursed)

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

• Initially 3 months, with potential for extension
