Job Description - Compliance Manager Estates and Facilities

Compliance Manager (Estates and Facilities)
  • Job Type: Temporary On going
  • Location: East Grinstead

Reed Crawley has partnered with a client who is actively recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of their compliance programme within the Estates and Facilities department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and possesses strong communication skills, ensuring compliance across various departments.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the delivery of our compliance programme, ensuring all activities are in line with sector rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a compliance calendar, manage evidence documentation, and oversee reviews and testing.
  • Track and monitor compliance requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain practical policies and procedures that support compliance.
  • Identify control gaps, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate mitigation efforts.
  • Liaise with contractors to deliver compliance testing and manage reports.
  • Support the transition of systems, particularly CAFM.
  • Provide expert advice and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Oversee Permit to Work for all necessary activities.
  • Collaborate with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure compliance across departments.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience and/or qualifications in compliance management.
  • Asbestos P405 qualification is desirable.
  • Experience working in the education or healthcare sectors is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and other departments.
  • A positive and proactive approach to compliance management.
