Asset & Compliance Project Officer (Contract)

?? Glasgow - Agile home worker - with regular travel to Sites/offices when required
?? £25.29 per hour
? 3 Months (ASAP Start) - Possible extension
?? 35 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for an experienced Asset & Compliance Project Officer to support key investment, repairs, and compliance functions within a busy housing and property services environment. This role offers an excellent hourly rate and the opportunity to play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality housing asset management services.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional and technical landlord assurance across day-to-day functions, liaising with various teams to ensure effective asset management and a customer-first approach.
Plan, manage, and monitor capital and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Assist in the development of 5-year investment strategies aligned with business priorities and community needs.
Ensure use of correct materials and specifications in all projects.
Maintain compliance across property assets, ensuring minimal risk of non-compliance.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven track record in delivering outcomes in project and service delivery environments.
Extensive experience in project management, including both large-scale investment and smaller local programmes.
Strong background in contract/project management to ensure compliance and assurance, from both group and customer perspectives.
Excellent understanding of construction, repair works, and asset maintenance.
Experience in budget setting and financial project management.
Ability to manage consultant teams and contractors, ensuring continuous improvement and quality.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise workloads, and contribute to successful change initiatives.
