Role Overview:

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Computer Science to join an inspiring 6th Form College in Sheffield starting in September 2025. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students and preparing them for the digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Computer Science, following the national curriculum.

Develop students' skills in programming, digital literacy and critical analysis.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.

Engage with extra-curricular activities and provide additional support where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level or College level.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for ICT and Computer Science

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
