Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with several innovative secondary schools in Daventry that are looking to recruit talented Computing Teachers for full-time positions starting in September 2025 - including the option of permanent placements for the right candidates.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a dynamic and rapidly evolving subject, while encouraging students to explore everything from coding and algorithms to cyber security and digital systems.

The role will include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools)

• Introducing students to key areas such as Python programming, HTML/CSS, hardware & software, and data representation

• Promoting problem-solving, creativity, and resilience through digital learning

• Assessing progress and adapting lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities

• Contributing to curriculum development and the wider ICT faculty

Who we're looking for:

• A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent (UK or overseas-trained welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Computing or Computer Science in a secondary school setting

• Up-to-date knowledge of the UK Computing curriculum and relevant qualifications (e.g. GCSE OCR/AQA)

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• A genuine passion for tech education and a commitment to student progress
