Daily Rate: Up to £223.62 (Depending on Experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school on the Wirral, who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is a long-term position teaching Computer Science up to Key Stage 5 (KS5), including programming modules, with the exciting potential for the role to become permanent.

Our client school is a successful community school which provides a fully comprehensive education for 11-19-year-old students achieving excellent outcomes for all their learners. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 to KS5
• Teach programming and computational thinking effectively
• Monitor student progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the Computer Science curriculum

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism or strong experience in Computer Science
• Experience teaching up to A-Level (KS5) desirable
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java
• Passion for technology and education
