Job Description:

We are recruiting two experienced Concrete Repair Operatives for a civils infrastructure project based in Birmingham, starting Monday, 2nd June 2025. This role involves carrying out structural and remedial works within medium risk confined space environments, so candidates must hold the relevant certification.

Key Duties:

• Carrying out structural concrete repairs across civils infrastructure (e.g. culverts, retaining walls, bridge structures).
• Performing surface prep, reinstatement works, and crack/joint sealing.
• Working in accordance with confined space entry procedures and health & safety protocols.
• Supporting other civil works as required by the site supervisor or foreman.

Essential Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in civil/concrete repair work.
• Valid Medium Risk Confined Space certification.
• CSCS card (Blue/Skilled Worker preferred).
• Strong awareness of site safety, particularly in confined or high-risk environments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and meet project deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Concrete Repair or relevant trade.
• Manual Handling certification.
• Previous experience on large civils or infrastructure projects.
