Configuration/Interface Engineer

Our large global consultancy client are hiring for Interface Engineer/Configuration Engineer. You must have current SC Clearance.

-Managing site-widen technical design interfaces for a design and build project, involving multiple consultancies.

Managing & Developing Digital Systems Engineering Models in line with industry best practice

-Acting as a Checker / Approver of SparksEA models.

I-mplementing and controlling new interface management policy and procedures.

-Covering, for example, production engineering, civil engineering, site services and inter-project interfaces.

-Stakeholder and design partner identification and engagement.

Skills/Experience

Experience of configuration management. Knowledge of established configuration management standards. Understanding of systems engineering. Good stakeholder management, multidisciplinary design experience.

• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification

• Demonstrable experience within a multidisciplinary design and build environment

• Experience of systems engineering and interface management

• Experience of using SparxEA and DOORS desirable

• Ability to produce clear guidance documents

• Ability to collaborate successfully within a project and team environment, act in best interest of team

• Ability to encourage and motivate within a project delivery environment
