Consultant (Automation Engineer) - Power Platform

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform to join our Delivery Team in Barcelona, Spain, with the possibility to offer a hybrid or remote work setup for a great candidate.

The Automation Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients. As an Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy workflows that streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and enable digital transformation across a wide array of industries. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform services such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. 


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and establish best practices. 


• Provide insights and strategies for process optimization utilizing Microsoft Power Platform capabilities. 


• Deliver across the full lifecycle of projects, from conception and design through to development, testing, deployment, and support. 


• Support workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure effective adoption of automation solutions. 


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation solutions. 


• Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and evaluate their applicability to current or future automation projects. 


• Ensure and maintain regular close client contact 


• Join and lead weekly project update meeting on the status of the technical implementation of the automation(s) 


• Actively implement best practices 


• Communicate and manage requirements with the clients service department 

Requirements

• Training in Computer Science, Business & Information Systems Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent with minimum duration of 2 years 


• At least 2 years' experience developing Power Platform solutions 


• Experience and training in conventional programming, preferably with .NET, C#, VBA or Java 


• Experience with other application/automation and integration tools (such as UiPath, Celonis, Appian etc.) is desirable 


• Understanding of AI and Cognitive Services to enhance automation solutions would be a strong advantage 


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure strong customer relationships 


• Understanding of customers' processes, with experience in process consulting being advantageous 


• ​Fluent in English and/or Spanish
