Position: Asbestos Analyst (Perimeter Air Monitoring), and / or Asbestos Surveying

Location: Plymouth, Devon (Single Static Site)

Contract Duration: 9 Months

MinimumRate: £230 - £240 per day

Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday

An excellent long-term contract opportunity has become available for a qualified Asbestos Analyst on a static brownfield site in Plymouth. We are seeking a reliable professional to commit to a contract lasting at least nine months.

Due to the high workload in the area, my client is also open to offering a lonterm contract to an Asbestos Surveyor who is not able to perform the analytical side of the role.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to support the on-site Project Manager with crucial asbestos air monitoring duties. This is a focused analytical role, where your work will consist solely of conducting background and reassurance air tests around the site perimeter. A fully equipped mobile laboratory and all necessary equipment will be provided for you on-site for the entire duration of the contract.

What This Contract Offers:

  • Long-Term Stability: Secure consistent work for a minimum of nine months, with the potential for extension.
  • Excellent Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a fixed, sociable shift pattern of 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Static Site: No travel required; you will be based at one single location in Plymouth for the whole contract.
  • Defined Scope of Work: A clear and specific set of responsibilities focused entirely on background and reassurance testing.

Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold valid BOHS P403 and P404 certifications.
  • A P402 qualified Surveyor would also be welcome to apply to this contract
  • Must have recent, demonstrable experience in site-based asbestos air monitoring.
  • A firm commitment to the full 9-month contract term is essential.

If you are a qualified analyst seeking a stable, long-term contract with predictable hours in the Plymouth area, we encourage you to apply.
