Contract IIoT Systems Architect - Industrial Internet of Things

This is a hybrid position, needing somebody in the office in Coventry 2-3 times a week dependent on peak times.

A household name needs somebody to join for the next 3+ months to assist with the workload that they have - in the process of beginning a large digital transformation, they are looking for somebody to help design and deliver the IIoT architecture, with a focus on enhanced sensorisation and data management (in the medium term, this will help enable data driven insights and decision making across the business). You’ll be working closely with various Architects (Systems, Enterprise etc) alongside the product teams to do so.

This contract is likely to last 3 months+

Day to day Responsibilities

• Producing IIoT solution architectures
• Derive IT & OT related technical/business requirements alongside the product teams
• Contribute to the automation design covering IIT networks, control software, system architectures, control networks etc
• Consult/advise various system architecture best practices/options to the various relevant teams
