Contract IT Test Technician

Long-Term Contract IT Test Technician opportunity based in Cambridgeshire

Our client, a world class development company who are global leaders in their industry, are currently in the midst of a number of new product introduction programmes to release to the market. As part of this exciting new period of growth, they are looking to recruit a number of experienced professionals to help them make these products a reality.

This role will involve the installation and running of new software directly on the hardware for key new products - think of it like installing an operating system - you will need to load the data and test that it works, reporting any bugs to the development team to repair. Proven experience in this type of environment will be key, as well as strong report writing experience.

Key Skills required - Contract IT Test Technician, Cambridgeshire:

- Experience of installation of software, running test procedures and reporting results

- IT/Software testing on electronics/hardware is essential

- Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools for report writing (Word, Excel etc.)

This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company.
