Job Description - Contract Management Buyer

Are you an experienced Contract Management Buyer looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a leading professional services company in Romford that is seeking a skilled procurement professional to join their team on a fixed-term contract (6-9 months). This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure value for money and service excellence.
Support procurement activities, including supplier selection, cost analysis, and contract management.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a procurement or contract management role.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Knowledge of contract law and best procurement practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office suite.
