Contract Manager

We have a current opportunity for a Contracts Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Kingston-Upon-Thames. For further information about this position please apply.

One of our clients are looking for a Contract Manager to assist them working in Redcar on the Sofia Windfarm project. This role offers some wfh but you would need to commit to 3/4 days on site.
Set-up:
* ASAP start
* 6-month initial contract
* Site in Redcar
* Hybrid role - ¾ days on site
* Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:
* Establish, manage, and negotiate project specific claims (including insurance claim) and variation orders to / from subcontractors and contractors/suppliers.
* Preserve rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract.
* Ensure notices and notifications are given in line with contract requirements.
* Support and provide guidance to project and site teams on general contractual issues.
* Ensure the successful execution of site activities contracts as per agreed commercial obligations

Client wants:
* At least 10 years' experience in international EPC contracts, preferably in energy and renewable energy sectors.
* Strong Commercial/negotiation and legal skills.
* Excellent computer skills in MS-Windows and Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of any other language is appreciated.
* Planning, organization, negotiation and presentation skills.
