Contract .NET Azure Developer

We're working with a well established organisation based in Glasgow city centre that is looking to bring on board an experienced .NET Azure Developer for an initial 6 month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role is Inside IR35 and follows a hybrid model 2 days onsite per week.

The Opportunity:

You'll join a dynamic and collaborative digital team working on a range of business critical backend systems hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The role involves designing and developing scalable, high performance backend services, and contributing to the architecture of modern microservices based systems.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced, agile environment and enjoys working with cutting edge Microsoft technologies.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with .NET & C# (both Framework and Core)

• Proficient with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps)

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience with TDD and Agile development methodologies

• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong focus on backend development and system architecture
