Macildowie is collaborating with a Leicestershire-based business to recruit for a Contracts Administrator on a 12-month maternity cover. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in finance, particularly those with strong Excel skills, who are looking to move into a broader business operations role with a focus on contracts and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process monthly payment runs for contract advances.
• Maintain contract records, track renewals, and update systems (SAP & FPS).
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, working closely with internal teams and external clients.
• Carry out quality control checks to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Respond to client and stakeholder queries in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Support internal projects and work with different teams to interpret and manage financial data linked to contracts.

What You Bring

• Finance background - Experience in accounts, financial admin, or reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills - Ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets.
• Experience using SAP
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured, process-driven approach.
• Strong communication and customer service skills - Confidently liaise with clients, business partners, and internal teams.
• A problem-solver with a keen eye for accuracy in financial and contractual data.
