About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well established construction firm specialising in formwork and groundworks. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects (3-5) from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction contracts

• Liaise with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

• Monitor progress and performance, proactively managing risks and resolving issues

• Ensure all projects comply with legal and contractual obligations

• Manage procurement, budgeting, and cost control measures across sites

• Lead site teams to ensure safety, quality, and programme targets are met

• Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of formwork and groundworks operations

• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience in tender to win new work

• In-depth understanding of health & safety legislation and construction regulations

• Full UK driving licence
