Position Details:

• Role: Cook
• Salary: NJC 4 - 6 (£24,404 - £25,207 FTE) | Actual Starting Salary: £16,872 - £17,427
• Location: Redruth
• Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 14:30pm (Term Time Only)
• Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cook all meals efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen.
• Provide well-balanced meals and nutritional menu choices.
• Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in food preparation, ideally in an environment serving children and young people.
• Running your own kitchen in a similar role such as care or educationally based
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to make a difference and a passion for inclusion.
