Job: Cost Estimator
Company: UK Defence company
Rate: £400 per day inside IR35
Location: Bristol
Contract: 3 months (opportunity to be extended)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

About the role

Estimating SME supporting 4 Cat A GMPP projects under their large complex programme (c.£10Bn).
Independently develop up to 27 complex Generic Cost Models for business case decisions.
Deliver cost estimates using mandated tools; communicate data clearly to leadership.
Analyse defence supplier data, apply correlation techniques, support strategic planning

Key responsibilities

Lead on engaging with and delivering estimating products for high value projects via utilising a range of estimating tools, techniques and methodologies
Deliver complex cost estimates using the mandated CAT A Generic Cost Models independently
Identify cost trends and management information for management attention

Skills & Qualifications:

- Full APM or ICEAA/ACostE certification-level experience
- Knowledge of Aqua Book, defence analysis tools
- Advanced data analytics and visualisation
