Counterbalance driver

FC Workforce are recruiting Counterbalance drivers for our reputable client based in NN67XY, Northampton on Night shift. You will be working in a busy working environment, across 3 warehouse units (back to back). This warehouse consists of ALL Fork trucks, minimal workers on foot.

Main duties:

You will be expected to operate a Counterbalance truck to a good standard, with confidence and working in a safe manner. You will be operating in a fast paced environment so must be happy with fast paced work.

• Offloading pallets from trailers and containers into the warehouse
• Moving stock around the warehouse in a timely manner on the Fork lift
• Stacking Pallets and ensuring safe placement
• Follow the 'TIDY AS WE GO’ procedure
• Be able to follow health and safety instructions

In house license accepted (Must have over 6 months experience)

The Shifts:

Monday to Friday / Night shift

• Night - 8PM -4AM
• Breaks - 30 min break (unpaid)

£14 per hour

You will have a CTB assessment/ training before your first shift starts, whilst it is quiet to enable you to showcase your skills and understand how the warehouse operates

• Weekend overtime available when busy
• You must have a reliable mode of transport to and from work
• MUST have safety shoes and Hi-Vis

Onsite parking available alongside bike sheds. Canteen and smoking areas also on site.
