Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods, as well as maintaining safety standards while operating forklifts and other equipment.

Duties

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately record inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
• Conduct heavy lifting and material handling as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment.

Skills

• Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong ability in heavy lifting and materials handling.
• Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts

Weekly rotation, days and lates.

Days: 07:00am - 15:18pm
Lates: 16:20pm - 00:38am

Must be able to commit to the above shifts on a weekly rotational basis

Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.53-£14.40 per hour

Hours: 39 per week
