Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Job Description:

We are looking for reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to support a busy warehouse. The role involves manual handling and heavy lifting, with a focus on moving and stacking bags of seeds using a counterbalance forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries, including heavy bags of seed.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB or ITSSAR).
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work.
• Previous experience in a similar role with at least 2 years' experience
• Flexible to work overtime on Saturdays (paid at time and a half).
• Good team player with a strong work ethic.
• Diligent, hard-working and punctual
• Good communication skills - compulsory
• Must be able to speak good English - compulsory
• Great attention to detail

Hour's/shifts/ location

• 40 hours per week - Expected hours: 40 – 67 per week
• PE6 - Free onsite parking
• During peak you will be required to work 12-hour days and some Saturday mornings
• Outside of peak some overtime will still be available
