Job Description - Counterbalance Truck Driver

We are recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT operators for our automotive client in Solihull, Birmingham, B92.
These are temporary on-going opportunities working with 2 of the world's largest brands.

We are looking for counterbalance forklift drivers who can commit to work on a permanent afternoon shift, salary ranging from £16.28ph to £28.08ph.

Rate of Pay:

Basic £16.28ph (40 hours paid per week)

Hours of work:

Permanent Afternoon shift: 14:00-22:00

Days of work:

Monday to Friday

Duties:

Driving Counterbalance truck with short and long fork attachment
Loading/unloading from trailers
Moving pallets, stillages and boxes
Moving stock around the warehouse
Checking stock numbers
Checking and tagging
Loading pallets onto automated tracks

REQUIREMENTS:

Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and undertake a DBS check (done by us)
Must have a minimum of 12 months recent counterbalance forklift driving experience.
You must hold an in-date Counterbalance truck licence (taken or refreshed within the last 3 years)
Your certificates must be accredited by: ABA/AITB/RTITB/ITSSAR.
Must be numerate and literate and pass a theory, pre-use inspection and practical FLT assessment on site.
