Your new role
Cover Manager - Immediate Start Location: Coventry Contract: Full-time, Temporary (until the end of the summer term)
This secondary school is seeking a Cover Manager to join our team immediately on a full-time basis. This key role ensures seamless day-to-day cover arrangements within our secondary school, maintaining high standards of learning and teaching in the absence of staff.
Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and coordinate daily cover for absent teachers.
• Liaise with supply agencies and internal staff to ensure lessons are covered effectively.
• Maintain records of staff absences and cover allocations.
• Support the smooth running of the school's timetable.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cover Manager within a school setting is essential.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Strong understanding of school operations and timetabling.
