Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Secondary School
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire

Salary: £85 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting their learning journey? Aspire People are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Newcastle-under-Lyme.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of classroom teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people in an educational setting.

The Role:
Supervise and manage a classroom during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.

Maintain classroom discipline and follow the school's behaviour policies.

Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on pupil progress and behaviour.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged children (desirable but not essential).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A flexible and positive attitude with a genuine interest in education.

Degree or equivalent qualifications are beneficial but not required.
