Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay engaged with pre-set work, and maintaining a productive learning atmosphere. This role would be ideal for NQT and PGCE students looking to gain valuable classroom experience before securing a permanent teaching role.
What you'll need to succeed

• Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational or support capacity.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline.
• Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lessons and supporting student learning.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
• Enhanced DBS certification (or willingness to obtain one).
