This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators keen to gain classroom experience and make a real impact on students' learning.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson content to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will manage the classroom environment, support pupils’ learning, and ensure continuity of education in line with the school’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences.

• Ensure pupils remain on task with the work set by teaching staff.

• Manage behaviour and follow school policies to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Report back to teaching staff on pupil participation and any issues arising.

• Provide general support in classrooms and around the school when required.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting (desirable).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A confident, proactive approach and strong classroom presence.

• A genuine interest in education and supporting students’ learning.

• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• The right to work in the UK and a CV with a full work history, including two references from the last two years.
