Cover Supervisor
Location: Shrewsbury and Telford, Shropshire
Contract Type: Temporary, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:20pm
Daily Rate: £80 - £110

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Shropshire, including Shrewsbury and Telford.

We offer both day-to-day supply (full-time or part-time, depending on your availability) and long-term placements, with some roles having the potential to become permanent.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher. Your duties will include:

• Taking the register and delivering pre-prepared work

• Supporting students’ understanding of tasks

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Addressing any immediate issues or queries from students

Who We're Looking For:

While a formal qualification is desirable, we also welcome applications from individuals with experience working with young people in educational, coaching, or youth work settings.

• Support pupils’ learning and engagement

• Assist children with additional learning needs
