Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (via Tradewind Recruitment)
School Type: Mixed Secondary Schools (Ages 11-18)

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff who want to make a difference in the classroom and gain valuable experience in secondary education.

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment

• Support students in understanding and completing set work

• Work across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional opportunities in KS5

• Build rapport with students and staff, becoming a trusted presence in school

• Experience working with young people in any setting

• An enhanced child-only DBS or willingness to process one

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• A proactive and positive approach to classroom supervision

• A genuine interest in working in secondary education
