Cover Supervisors - Secondary Schools - Derby & Surrounding Areas - September 2025 Start

Location: Derby and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
Daily Pay Rate: £90 - £120 (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking multiple reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Derby and the surrounding areas from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education, classroom management, and supporting students' learning journeys. Whether you're an experienced cover supervisor or looking to gain experience in secondary education, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Ensure a productive and safe learning environment

• Provide support to students as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a secondary school environment is desirable but not essential

• Strong classroom management skills

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location of some schools

• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
