Cover Supervisors Needed for September 2025
Positions Available: Long-term | Short-term | Day-to-day
Pay: £90 – £105 per day (dependent on experience)

The Supply Register is recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across schools within the John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust in the Burton-on-Trent area. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience in a flexible and rewarding role.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of a teacher, ensuring students remain on task with set work.

• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.

• Support students with lesson content where needed.

• Manage behaviour confidently and in line with school policies.

• Communicate any concerns to the appropriate school staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth-based setting.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Adaptability and confidence to work in a range of subjects and schools.

• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support students’ learning.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
