Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Supply Work
Location: Wakefield and surrounding areas
Salary: £85 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible supply work (full-time and part-time opportunities available)

Tradewind is seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and work on a supply basis across secondary schools in the Wakefield area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in learning.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

• Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress and conduct.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, sports coaching, or tutoring).

• Are confident in managing groups of students and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Can demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.

• Are flexible, reliable, and able to travel to schools across Wakefield.

• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one).

• Flexible supply work to fit around your lifestyle.
