• Job Title:  Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) CAMHS Crisis 

• Location: Worthing area

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (flexible hours)

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: TBC

• Rate of Pay:

  • £25.50 - £26.50 per hour (days)

  • £30 - £31 per hour (nights/Saturdays)

  • £35 - £36 per hour (Sundays & Bank Holidays)

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of young people in crisis. Your core responsibilities include:

? Conducting urgent mental health assessments and risk evaluations.
? Providing rapid intervention and crisis support to young people.
? Collaborating with families, carers, and professionals to ensure holistic care.
? Developing and implementing care and safety plans.
? Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists.
? Medication management and participating in duty rotas.
? Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with compliance standards.

• Current and valid NMC registration and PIN.

• CAMHS Crisis experience is highly desirable.

• Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced crisis team.

• Car driver essential.

This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, with flexible hours. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
