We have an exciting opportunity within a CAMHS team offering great pay, full-time hours, and the chance to make a real impact supporting children and adolescents in the community.

• Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse - Band 6

• Location: Hastings area

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Rate of Pay: £25.27 - £26.27 per hour

Join a compassionate and supportive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, working with young people and their families to promote emotional well-being and recovery. In this role, you will:

• Carry out assessments, care coordination and intervention planning

• Support young people experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges

• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor progress

• Collaborate closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safeguarding protocols

• Engage in regular MDT meetings and contribute to service development

• Current and valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse

• Essential: Prior experience working in a CAMHS setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage a caseload and work both independently and within a team

• Full UK driver's licence and access to a car required

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
