Exciting Opportunity: Band 6 CAMHS Liaison CPN – South East London

Job Title: CAMHS Liaison Community Psychiatric Nurse (Band 6)
Location: South East London
Duration: 3 months (with likely extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £27 per hour (umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a supportive CAMHS Liaison team, providing crucial mental health assessments and crisis intervention to young people presenting in acute settings.

? Supporting crisis assessments and discharge planning
? Liaising with multi-agency teams and families
? Managing urgent mental health presentations
? Developing short-term care and safety plans
? Facilitating referrals and signposting to ongoing services
? Working collaboratively within a fast-paced liaison environment

Requirements & Qualifications:
? NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
? Experience in CAMHS, crisis, or liaison services
? Strong clinical risk assessment and crisis intervention skills
? Ability to work in high-pressure environments with young people and families
? Excellent communication and documentation skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM. Initial contract for 3 months with strong potential for extension.
