  • £25.50 - £26.50 per hour (Days)

  • £30.50 - £31.50 per hour (Nights/Saturdays)

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a fast-paced Psychiatric Liaison Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals experienced in urgent mental health care. Your core responsibilities include:

• Conducting mental health assessments within emergency departments and hospital wards

• Delivering crisis interventions and developing risk management plans

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

• Providing specialist advice to hospital staff regarding mental health presentations

• Managing high-risk cases and supporting timely and safe discharges

• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation

• Current and valid NMC registration and PIN

• Essential: Experience in psychiatric liaison or crisis mental health services

• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and risk management skills

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, acute healthcare environment

• Flexibility to work long shifts across a 7-day rota

This is a full-time position offering long-day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) across Monday to Sunday. The contract is ongoing for 3 months initially, with strong potential for extension based on service needs.
