• Location: Maidenhead area

• Duration: 3-month ongoing contract

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: TBC

• Rate of Pay:

  • £25.50 - £26.50 per hour (weekdays)

  • £30.50 - £31.50 per hour (Saturdays)

  • £35.50 - £36.50 per hour (Sundays & bank holidays)

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and play a vital role in assessing and supporting patients in acute mental health crisis within a fast-paced liaison psychiatry service. Your core responsibilities include:

? Conducting urgent mental health assessments in acute hospital settings
? Providing crisis intervention and risk management plans
? Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including A&E and acute medical teams
? Offering specialist advice and support to hospital staff regarding mental health presentations
? Referring patients to appropriate mental health services or community teams
? Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards

? Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
? Previous experience in Psychiatric Liaison and Crisis Teams is essential
? Strong communication and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
? Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary teams
? Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care

This full-time role operates on a Monday to Sunday rota from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
