We are recruiting for a Creative SEND Graduate Support Assistant for a Special Educational Needs School, in the Urmston area of Tafford to work on a long-term basis starting in September 2025.

Creative SEND Graduate Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
• Contribute to developing a creative curriculum where creative learning opportunities are available for all pupils
• Support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
• Provide an 'outside of the box' way of thinking to help students engage in their learning

Non-negotiables:

• Must have obtained a 2:2 or above in degree
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Experience in one or more creative subjects (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology)
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team
