Description

• Handle and monitor customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Review and reconcile outstanding debts, taking appropriate action where necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of credit transactions and account statuses.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to improve cash flow processes.
• Provide regular reports on aged debt and collection activities to management.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
• Support the team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Credit Control specialist should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for debt reconciliation and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to manage client relationships effectively.
• A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

• Hourly pay of approximately £14.60 to £16.40, depending on experience.
