A Lincoln-based organisation is seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join its finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in credit control who can hit the ground running and contribute to the smooth operation of the accounts receivable function.

• Managing the collection of outstanding debts in a timely and professional manner
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries and disputes
• Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activities
• Producing aged debt reports and supporting month-end processes
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient credit control procedures

• Demonstrable experience in a credit control or similar finance role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
