Credit Controller

We are urgently seeking a Credit Controller for a temporary position, available to start immediately. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and efficient professional who is ready to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee receivables and ensure effective credit control.

• Monitor and control credit for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely payments and maintaining minimal overdue amounts.
• Issue invoices and account statements, process incoming funds, and manage collection efforts.
• Liaise with customers to resolve billing disputes and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Conduct credit checks on new clients and assess creditworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and communications with customers.
• Report to management on outstanding issues, highlighting potential debtor problems.

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry; experience with financial software is a plus.
