Job Opportunity: Custody Practitioner – Camden
Location: Camden Custody Suites
Contract Type: Ongoing Agency Role
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00)
Pay Rates: £22.31 – £35.00 per hour
Start Date: First week of August

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Custody Practitioners to join a dedicated team working alongside police officers in busy custody suites across Camden.

As a Custody Practitioner, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the welfare of detainees, ensuring their rights are upheld, and supporting the custody team in delivering high standards of care and compliance. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two shifts are the same.

• Provide welfare checks and support to detainees in custody
• Assist with risk assessments and care plans
• Liaise with police officers, healthcare professionals, and legal representatives
• Ensure compliance with legal and procedural standards

• Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
