Job Description - Customer Accounts Administrator

Customer Account Administrator based in Bradford, BD3
Offering £12.21 per hour, paid weekly - every Friday
Start Date: 22nd April 2025
Temporary 2 month contract; Full Time, 37.5 hours

The Recruitment Co. are currently recruiting for Customer Account Administrators on behalf of our client based in Bradford. They are looking for Customer Account Administrators to join their team, this is an initial 2 month contract providing support with an on-going project on behalf of their sister company - this project is to offer a more effective social tariff to households on lower incomes gain help and affordability of their utilities.

The Location: Bradford, BD3 (on-site)

The Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Working times between 9am-5pm
  • Full time hours; 37.5 per week

The Salary: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly - every Friday!

The Role:

  • Correctly assess customer accounts and make interim adjustments to their utility tariffs, working in line with the banding matrix. Accurately review all customer information to ensure the correct tariff is assigned.

  • Complete required data transfers with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and verify the output.

  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.

  • Work in accordance with service level agreements.

  • Operate in an effective and timely manner.

  • Use in-house systems to accurately record information and data transfers.

  • Work alongside a small, friendly, and supportive team.

  • Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues with data entry.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

The Person

  • Previous administration, clerical or data entry experience is required, you will handling a large volume of customer accounts and completing data heavy admin tasks.
  • Strong IT skills are required - good navigational skills, typing accuracy and speed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong personal organisation and time management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Please note: All successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check for this position.
