Job Description - Customer Care Advisor

Job Title: Customer Care Advisor
Location: Perth, Scotland
Pay Rate: £12.61 per hour (£24,603 pro rata annually)
Contract Type: 3-month fixed term (37.5 hours per week)
Start Date: Early August

Morson Talent is proud to partner with a respected organisation in the transport sector to recruit Customer Care Agents for their Perth-based customer service team. This is a 16-week fixed-term role, with the potential to go permanent.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems and making customers feel heard, this could be a great opportunity — whether you're coming from retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Answer incoming customer queries by phone, offering clear and accurate guidance on services, fares, timetables, and tickets
  • Support with lost property cases and handle complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Work closely with a friendly and supportive team to deliver exceptional service
  • Be a positive ambassador for the brand at every touchpoint

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident communicators with a helpful, can-do attitude
  • Previous customer service experience (from any sector)
  • Comfortable navigating systems and following structured processes
  • Reliable team players who remain calm and efficient under pressure

The practical bits:

  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am–6pm, weekends 9am–5pm (You’ll work one weekend day every other week — full 16-week rota provided in advance)
  • Training: 2 weeks of classroom-based training to set you up for success (holidays not permitted during training period)
  • Extras:
    • Free local bus travel
    • 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays
    • On-site parking available

Recruitment Process:
