Customer Service Administrator, Reading, RG1

5 days a week which will includes weekends at times. £13.15ph , 2-3 months

Vibrant and welcoming student accommodation requires a temporary Customer Service Administrator to assist with keeping the operations smooth, residents happy and community alive!

Your role is more than admin; it's about connection, support, and making sure every resident feels at home from the minute they arrive and be part of their community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the friendly face at reception—answering queries, assisting residents, greeting visitors, and making first impressions count
  • Handling resident communications with clarity and care—via phone, email, or in person
  • Handling and sorting of parcels and post
  • Overseeing rent payments and reservations with precision and tact
  • Setting up apartments for residents to move in to
  • Dealing with complaints with a helpful and empathetic manner
  • Assisting with the setting up and preparation for events

What we need

  • A customer service star with either student accommodation, hospitality, property, or a people-facing role
  • Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills
  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously
  • A team player with strong communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for making a difference
