Job Description - Customer Service Assistant

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

Our client is seeking a hard-working and dedicated customer service operative with strong written communication skills and a proven ability to perform well in fast-paced environments. You would be working as a member of the customer care team, addressing a high volume of email enquiries from customers while communicating within the company's high standards and brand. Having experience working in similar environments is crucial, as well as a willingness to come into the office regularly to collaborate with the permanent members of the team

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT ROLE:

Providing support in the CRTZ email accounts, offering customers an excellent and consistent experience in line with the company’s expectations
Resolving product or service issues by clarifying the customer's complaint or queries, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolutions are carried out
Managing refunds and responding to customer queries when needed, ensuring that customer service standards are maintained
Actively informing customers of any potential issues, including backorders, issues with delivery and customs when the question arises

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:

6+ months of experience in a customer service role, managing high volumes of emails and complaints
Experience with Shopify is essential
Zendesk or Gorgias experience is preferred
